Hi all,

I have a SIP virtual trunk configured through NRS to direct x7780 to an IP Fax server:

- When I dial 7780 internally I get the fax server.
- When i dial in to our callpilot auto attendant and then dial thru to 7780 I get the fax server.
- When I dial an external DID using IDC to 7780 I get switchboard.

Any ideas why the DID/IDC is not working here? Is there something in ESN or the route that is making it fail?

Thanks,

Joel

Think I might have found the problem in the Route:

IDC NO
DCNO 0 *
NDNO 0

Can I change this on the fly or do I need to disable the dch and route first?

Thanks,

Joel

you can just do it, IDC yes then change the tables if you are not using table 0 then enter all the way out

Hi,

This didn't work. I tried all of the following:

Route:
-idc yes/no
-targ 0 and targ 1

Trunk:
-NCOS 0, NCOS 7 (max)
-cls CTD/UNR
-tgar 0 and tgar 1 (both in sync and staggered compared to trunk)

The call continues to go to switchboard instead of going to the fax server only when using the DID -> IDC -> DSC phone number. Any ideas/assistance is appreciated!

what is the ncos on the incoming DID trunks?--is it high enough to access the rli for the cdp?

Hi thanks for the response - the NCOS on DID is 0 which relates as you'd expect to FRL 0. Does this mean I should lower FRL on RLI 17 or raise NCOS on DID?

well that depends
do you restrict any users from dialing CDP?---if so raise the ncos on the incoming trunks---if not just lower the FRL in the rli to 0.

I changed the FRL to 0 on RLI 17 and the issue is fixed! Thank you so much kstaff22 and bignose21!
