my intercept treatment is an announcment its in an audio group and I can dial it and hear it. any call to a non programmed station is giving me a second of static then disconnect. Any thoughts?

disp sys feat, page 1. What does 'DID/Tie/ISDN/SIP Intercept Treatment' say?

the intercept is the announcement number. When I trace the tac I get the 1751 denial No AAR/ARS route pat/pref

odd. Does 'disp dial par' show 'UDP table first' under 'UDP Extension Search Order'? If so, then check 'list unif' to see if your announcement number is matching and going to AAR or ARS.

dial para shows local extension first
under list unif i dont see my announcement number in there... perhaps this is the issue?
my extension range it 6000 to 6999 some are in use but others are not.

Thats not it then. Next guess, delete and re-record the announcement and/or 'cha sys feat' and set your intercept treatment to send the call to a VDN with a vector that is wait 1 sec hearing silence then disconnect after ann 1234.

I tried with the VDN no luck. I am dialing by extension. here is the trace ( cant copy and paste, I work on 2 different laptops)
3. collect 4 digits after ann xxxx for none
4. route to digits with coverage Y
denial even 1751: no AAR/ARS route pat/pref
5. stop

It doesn't even acknowledge that I have entered any digits...
I love a stumper.. but this on is getting on my nerves. thanks

If i dial a good number this is the trace:

4. route to digits with coverage Y
5. Leaving vector processing
dial xxxx (programmed station)
ring station

what if you change your intercept treatment to a station with a phone? (for testing) Then dial a DID in range with your DID block and no station assigned. Keep it simple.

Hey sorry you can only assign an announcement, attendant or vdn. None work I even tried another announcement.

Post output from "display dialplan parameters"

check for ETA

Code:
change dialplan parameters Page 1 of 1

Can you post your trace?
Can you post display dialplan analysis?

Yep, but if I chose a programmed extension it goes just fine... stumped!

well now, I finally figured it out. The intercept treatment works for DID's dialed into the switch, not for internal dial by extension treatment. I added a step in the vector to
"go to step 6 if unconditional"
6. disconnect after annoucment xxxx
uggggg!
