I have a Nortel device connected to the AVAYA 7.1 environment.

The call is send by the nortel to the AVAYA, the call is received over a SIP trunk in the AVAYA equipment, no issues there, but the issue is when the end user dont answer the call, the coverage path is not working properly.

If I enable all the options in the Coverage path to yes, it routes the call directly to the VM server. It never rings in the station, even if I configure specific rings.

If I use just busy or dont answer, the call is never send to VM and keep ringing in the station.
Could you please help me out?

Thank you,
Regards

try creating a new coverage path, add coverage path next, assign voicemail to coverage path and retest

I did that but it did not work. Any other idea?

Do you know about a known bug or error?

do a list trace station on the Avaya phone and post results

Have you tried putting the Voicemail number in a Coverage Remote entry and putting that entry into Coverage Path, rather than trying to go direct?
