If I do a ps -ef | grep 'root' command I get a list of 114 processes running.

The who command doesn't show root as being logged in.

A prstat command shows root as the highest user of CPU and memory resorces.

We recently rebooted 2 weeks ago as well so I wouldn't think there would be this many processes potentially hung.

Any idea what's going on here?
