The system is running - R015x.01.1.415.1. The problem started on 10/18 at 23:37 and start doing Software Request Reset 1 every 2 hours+. I found nothing in the system Logs that pointed to a problem. We did an interchange and server B started doing Software Request Reset 1 every 2 hours+. After the 4th rest the problem stopped. Anyone out the experience anything like this? What did you do the resolve the problem?

Thanks

I've seen failing/faulty Sync Source from a DS1 force reboots of a G3 (LEC issue). Haven't had a similar issue on a CM.

Security patch most likely address linux issues and not CM.

restarts are caused by bugs. If on the latest patch and still have restarts,

Upgrade to a higher load for resolution

No licensing issues to go from an early cm5 to cm5.2.1

logfile will have EIP signature for the restart and it will look something like this:

Had the same issue with the same load with one of my customers. uploaded to CM 5.2.1 and solved the problem

Thanks evoguy; I will see if this option is available to the customer.

Hey evoguy, Did you do the upgrade on a existing PCN? If so can you tell me the number so I can check Avaya's web site.
