Hi all,

I am trying to setup Key 03 XMWK 8000 XXXX on a 1120 set to use as a secondary VM indicator.
I can add the key 03 XMWK 8000 XXXX and the cls smwa, but I cannot add the cls xmwi.
I get a sch0341 error.
Any ideas wil be appreciated.
Andy

I don't think you need SMWA.
And I don't know where you found XMWI.

All I've ever done is the key 03 XMWK 8000 XXXX like you've done.

DN XXXX must appear on the phone that you wish to add the XMWK Key to - you can make it a non-ring if you need to - it just needs to appear on the TN

The DN does appear on the the phone and I have LMPX in CLS.
I put a test mesage in XXXX VM and I did not receive any red light or indicator on key 03 XMWK 8000 XXXX
It is a MCR key with VM that is marped to anther TN.

Does the Mailbox Message DN match the XMWK DN? Or is it the same DN as the mailbox number.

Sometimes the Message DN is different than the mailbox number - if that is the case, the XMWK DN needs to match the Message DN rather than the Mailbox number

Yes the message DN is the same as XMWK..
Any other thoughts?

This always works when everything is set up right - so it's not some fluke. Something is wrong with either the mailbox or TN.

Do this: Take your own mailbox, and try to add an XMWK on your co-workers phone.

Don't change ANY of the CLS settings - the ONLY thing you need is CLS MWA, and an appearance of the message DN.
