I have a NoUser, who has been connected for hundreds of hours now, and can't find any solution to disconnect it:

- I tried Avaya's Tech Tip, that in this exact case I should change the standard logoff code telephone number to t(1), and that should disconnect it after a minute

- I have read another post here (thread940-967132), but there was also no solution - the problem (and screenshot) is exactly like mine, I have checked all the ports, and all the phones

- And of course, I rebooted the unit ;) but just as it starts again, the NoUser appears in the call status...

pleeeeease help =)

Use a PC that has phone manager installed on it. Then use call status to steal the call. Once you have it, hang up.

if CarGoSki's solution doesn't work then export the users and delete them in the config
then import them again and save the config ((send it back)

We had this issue. An ext said "no user", but did display the correct ext number. Went in and changed the first letter of the user name, merge, then replace with correct initial. Fixed it on our problem.

What release are you on?

I would try disconnecting patch leads directly from the front of the IPO one by one and watching call status to see if it disappears.

It could be a faulty port somewhere.

I would try the alog ports first.

Try doing a reboot with monitor running to see if you get a clue on the port number with that.

This looks like an extension with no user defined to it or the user logged out, and the handset is off the hook.

First make sure all your extension have users assigned to them. If you need to add users add them, Avaya usually calls them ExtnXXX, you can do the same. You should be able to see the off-hook user now, maybe it'll require a reboot.

If that still doesn't solve the problem, the user is logged out. You will have to dial to each extension and see when you get to the voicemail immediatly - that is the extension that is logged off.

nothing worked
but I still managed to solve it
I don't know if this makes any sense bet.... logged out on a phone, so I would be nouser
and started trying several short codes
after I turned off voicemail ringback, it stopped
