Hi all

As of a couple days ago I can not access my secondary server using port 7071, i tried telnet but tells me unable to connect(Works for the primary). The server is up as I can see it on system status, monitor and manager.

Any ideas or will I need to re ignite the server from scratch?

Thanks

Looks like the webcontrol service is not running.

Log into SSH.
Enter admin area by typing 'admin' followed by username and password.
Enter root shell by typing "root" and enter root password.

Get status of webcontrol
Code:
/etc/init.d/webcontrol status

Start webcontrol
Code:
/etc/init.d/webcontrol start

Restart webcontrol
Code:
/etc/init.d/webcontrol restart

Thanks derfloh

Can you clarify:Enter admin area by typing 'admin' followed by username and password ?

I entered admin..comes back looking for "admin" password
I have tried entering the Administrator password, the system password and the root password but none worked...also tried entering Administrator

what is default password for "admin"?

Thanks

Seems like you are in 9.0 or earlier (<- hint to provide more information next time ;-))

You will login with ssh as Administrator with the Administrator's password. Next enter 'admin' you will be asked for the same Administrator's password again. In 9.1 you will be asked for a username as well. Next enter 'root' and type the root password.

The rest is like I wrote before.
