FNA (Forward no Answer), FBA (Forward Busy Allowed), good to have in place just in case one of the fax machines goes down. And yes, this will allow the machines to take each other faxes in the the event of a busy condition.
Thanks Eddie, i will make sure cls is set to fba, hta, and fna. I will set ftr fdn to the other fax number and I will test it shortly. i will let you know results. Thanks a lot I really appreciate it.
I set up my fax line (399) to ftr fdn 200 with cls fna, fba, and hta. I had someone unplug the fax machine and tested it, and it turns out that it is ringing the operator instead of forwarding to 200. Any idea? DO I have to set cls for other line a certain way?
I changed the cls on this line to fna fba, and I tried hta but I received an error message SCH039, so I eneded up just changing cls to fna fba. Then I went back and added hunt 399. When I did this I called to test this and it was ringing the attendant. The fax was not working, so i outed the line and reinstalled it and sent you the configs that I have now.

Only use FBA if you want a DID call to goto the Oper if the phone is busy. I was working at a marine base and the Oper was getting about 300 or more calls a day. they had to have 3 Oper just to handel the calls. I checked the programming on all the phones and found that 80% of the phones had CLS FBA, I changed them all to FBD and all they needed was 1 Oper after that.
CLS HTA Plus FTD FDN 399 will send the call to the other Fax if this one is busy.
HUNT is for CLS FNA
FTR FDN xxx is for Forward if busy
