I am trying to automate registry permissions for many users. I used REGINI which works great for every win2k group except for USERS FULL CONTROL. Does anyone know the ACL code for USERS FULL CONTROL. I have only found 26= R and 30=Special Access??
Please help

Hi

Its [7] for everyone:full control - should be ok.
I did have a list somewhere - I'll post if I can find it but that one is correct as I used it yesterday with regini.

Hope this helps

The full list from regini.doc:

2. Administrator R
3. Administrator RW

9. World RW
10. World RWD

20. Administrator RWX

Thank you very much for your assistance, however when I use 7, it allows EVERYONE FC, but I need USERS GROUP FC? Any Ideas??

The only easy way that I found to grant named user groups permissions was to use the NTSec toolkit from Pedestal Software.

They do a 30 day demo version if you want to have a look.
