Auto starting proggies.

alright this is the prob (well not really a problem just annoying)

using win 2k pro, when the system boots it loads all progs like icq etc which i don't want to load a boot, in win98 u could use system config. utility to alter the start up options, anyone know where this option is in 2k, the system config i can find but it doesn't let me stop these auto starting programs.

any ideas???, thx

For some reason, there is no equivalent of MSConfig in any version of Windows other than 98, so I would get hold of a copy of the Startup Control panel from here:

You can use msconfig.exe from XP with a Win2k machine.

you can load msconfig from a 98 disk to a different os too.
