I hate how windows 98 changed the Start Menu so it's sorted by date rather than by name. Is there anyway to make the 98 Start menu list things alphabetically?

Sort by date Sort by votes
Click Start, Programs, Right click any listed term, choose "sort by name" at the bottom, 1 above preferences.
There you go
