AIWS2 - using the send message tool

Hi Forum,

anyone ever tried to write a program (exe, script etc) for the sent message tool (HTTP site of the AIWS2)?
A customer is asking if its possible, without buying the alarm server option. I looked at it with our software engineers and they need to know what the site does. We tried getting access via FTP, FTPES, SFTP & SCP to see the php coding, no luck tho.

Anyone tried this before? Does anyone know how to access the filesystem?

Ascom et al. Do this. They even supply the SIP handset. The messaging is on their own UCM module. All you need is a 3rd party SIP endpoint license, sip extension and user and then it's not your problem.

Sorry can't follow. So you saying register a 3rd party SIP ext. to the IPO, from that SIP Endpoint I can sent messages to DECT Handsets?

To an Ascom DECT handset you could (They also make them but you'd need Dect base stations as well as wifi. But it'd be more to other ascom sip portable phones or inter application notifications. You can receive messages from fire doors, security systems, gaming systems, and guest check in systems that output to the ascom ucm. The ucm provides a message to the handset.
Eg. 'Gunnaro has just signed in at reception.''Fire door open stairwell B.

et al. Is an acronym for et alia, which is 'and others' in Latin. Similar to etc.
Ascom is not the only supplier who specialise in this, hence et al, and i have no affiliation with the company other than the fact that a customer of mine has used their services to achieve this end.

Customer doesnt really want to buy another solution, but is willing to spend some money on our programmers. Thats why im asking.
