Adding more DID to system

we ran out of DIDs in range 15xx

our telco offered us more in the 14xx range

same prefix

i added this to our dial plan and into the incoming call handling treatment but i still get a fast busy

checked with telco and its a programming issue on our end

what am i missing? i know this is a simple one - tried searching the manual - no luck .. hard to look up DID in the search ... any advice would be greatly appreciated

 
you can trace the trunk's TAC code. to find any errors info for resolve this problem.
 
Also, did you try and assign one of those new numbers?
 
Ask them how many digits they are sending you. If you are expecting 4 and they are sending 7 could be a problem.
 
it turned out the carrier had not activated them

the carrier had not activated them yet and they are sending 7 digits - so i had to strip out the first 3 digits - thanks for the info
