We added new data cables to a new room. After completing our project, now they want a phone in this room. We have no room to add another cable. One of our options was to use a T7406 cordless phone. I do not believe this will work because the walls are concert and 10" thick. Can we use Norstar VOIP adapter. Any suggestion

Voip depends on what system you are using.

Worse comes to worse Data only uses 2 pairs, split them up and use one for the phone.....just need a little Mcgyvering action to accomplish this.

we have a CICS with 8 phone. we only need one phone for the new room.

Voip is out the qeustion then.

10 inches is not all that bad....electricians have drills for much thicker walls.

And sorry forgot about the cordless, the new T7406e cordless may work if the base is attached right up against the middle of the wall.

What software are you running on your phone system? If it's restricted, it will only support 8 sets. You may need to upgrade to standard.
