Does anyone know if the 9611 handset have a electronic hook switch EHS feature for wireless headsets? I'm trying to avoid having to use a handset lifter.

Yes there is. I have a Jabra 925 wireless headset with an electronic hook switch cable (Jabra Link 14201-33) and it works really well. While I currently use it with a J179 set, I previously had a 9611G and no issues.

Here's a quick video of it in action:

There are solutions with many brands, Sennheiser works also with a dedicated cable.
I have some DW-Pro working with 9500/9600 Series or J100 Series.

I read your reply regarding the electronic hook switch and I ordered one
14201-33 but I can't seem to get it to hang up the line. How do you have it set up is there any special configuration in the handset.

I plugged it into the correct ports I'm able to get a dial tone on the headset but it still looks like it's seizing the line and not actually hanging up
