Hi all,

I seem to be having some number conversion issues with my MD110. Currently my service provider is sending me all 7 digits and I wish to truncate the first three digits in order to access the 4 digit internal dialing I have set up. The issue seems to be that no matter what paramiters I change on the NUTRI command, the MD110 will not truncate those digits. I've even tried truncating 4 and prepending 1. Nothing will work. Can someone please help me?

Thank you in advance.

let's say your provider sends you 123xxxx (xxxx is the extension nr) in unknown number type

that would be :

nutri:entry=123,cnvtyp=0,numtyp=0,trc=3;

if this doesn't work, ask what TON (type of number) your provider is using. (it could be national, in this case use numtyp=2)

Cheers,
Daddy

I have attempted that. Infact, I've tried all the NUMTYPs on all the CRVTYPs. None of them are working. Is there a possibility that it could be the way the trunk group is set up on my service provider's side?

By the way, thank you for the speedy response.

number conversion on the route has to be activated, check
last digit of serv in ROCAP:ROU=x; (must be 1)

I suppose the route you're talking about is ISDN, right?

Thanks man! That was the issue. Guess I'll never overlook that again, you have no idea how long it took me before I even thought to post on here.
