500v2 cabinet locked version 1

Does anyone know how to tell what version a 500v2 is locked to. As in once the first call is placed that SW Version is hard coated to Motherboard and cannot be upgraded without a license. I have a few used cabinets that I cannot tell what version they may be. I also tried to view in monitor but could not find.

Go through manager and act like you're going to upgrade it. It will list the current version, and the required license version.

With a serial cable and putty you can see in the boot messages on which release it is locked.
