I would like to upgrade my old MX3300 from current software version of 7.1 to latest version 10.0 to take advantage of the new features. I see in the release notes the system controller RAM needs to be at 512. Since I am only at 256 is my current controller upgradeable or do I need a completely new controller/ chassis? Thanks in advance

You can buy the correct RAM from mitel. part number 50005883: 3300 512MB RAM MODULE
when you open the controller it is just on the top. power down, replace and power up.
Thanks
Brooke

I doubt it.

Be nice and tell us the controller type will ya?

if as you state its an mx no you cant - you need to upgrade the controller. lx's, cx and cxi's are upgradeable.

Only MXe, CX/CXi are upgradable and some late LX controllers came with 512 installed so they will work. MX you are out of luck.
