3300 cx and sip

Hi guys,

I am trying to register a 5212(SIP firmware) with a 3300 cx, the phone sends the REGISTER but the PBX responds with a ICMP (port unreachable, i have checked and the port is configured ok (5060 UDP).
When a list the licences availables i get 2 for SIP phones but i get nono for IP networking, do you know if it could be the problem, or may be i still need to configure something.

why use a Mitel phone on a Mitel system in SIP? You loose alot of the functionality?

I am using the 5212 just to get a SIP phone working, we plan to have 3rd party sip phones in our deployment.

Have you set up the phone as Generic SIP phone?

Make sure you use correct service TCP or UDP. It is really does matter.

Yeah, one more. I would try to play with one of the softphones such as Couterpath XLite. It is free and works pretty good with mitel except for call transfer, hold and some other features.
