We have installed a Netscaler vpn (sslvpn) in our facility. was trying to use IP softphone on it and it gave an error that softphones dont work in a NAT environment. any work around on this?

usually you put a default termination on a vector for such an occassion.
example:
route to 0 if unconditionally.
this would route anybody who does not do anything and the vector interdigit timer, times out or if they have a rotary phone.

if the vector indicates that you provide busy tone when all agents are busy, then yes, if not then the callers should queue. this is provided that you have enough inbound trunks to take the inbound calls.

Susan is correct, you need the 5.0 or 5.1 for XP. If you have 5.0 there is a patch you can download from the avaya website to upgrade it to 5.1

vectoring is basically programming the call flow that the vdn is pointed to. That may be where your issue is comming from. what number are you calling to get into the audix auto attendant? are you calling a vdn that is still pointed to a vector?
