Intuity MAP5P Auto Attendant problem?

I have a Intuity Audix Map5P that is integrated with a Prologix through C-Lan. I created a subscriber box with auto-attendant COS. When I login to that box to record the menu greetings, it acts like a regular mailbox subscriber. When that extension is called it just says "please wait" and then immediately routes to the timeout zero operator.

Any ideas why I can't record the menu prompt and why it is reacting like this?

I tripple checked. Permissions is for auto attendant.
Any other ideas?

did you define the fields on page 3? if so, im out of ideas..sorry

Yup! Did all that. I am not sure what is going on. Granted, this system was installed in another location with the Prologix cabinet with a different dial plan. I have been slowly cleaning out all of the residual programming. If the old setup used vectoring with AA, would this hose it all up?

By the way, what exactly is vectoring? I have never worked with it.

vectoring is basically programming the call flow that the vdn is pointed to. That may be where your issue is comming from. what number are you calling to get into the audix auto attendant? are you calling a vdn that is still pointed to a vector?

It will say "please wait" and transfer you to the system default if you do not record the greeting for the auto-attd mailbox (i.e. press 1 for this, 2 for that).

lopes1211 is right, Audrey will say "No Operator Defined, please wait." if there is no greeting recorded. I would also check the Auto-Attendant Routing Schedule to see if calls are being routed to an alternate mailbox.

Got it! Did have to record a greeting first. Also the option 3 in setup for recordings does not sound any different than a normal subscriber. I guess because you have to layer auto attendants to make a tree. There really are no submenus.

Thanks guys!
