Is it possible to direct my S8300 Stand Alone (not an LSP) cdr (ecas) data to my S8700 which has a CDR device. I have another S8300 LSP connected to this S8700 and it sends CDR data just fine. I cannot set up the CDR device on the s8300 as it will take down the link from the s8700 to the cdr. Anybody have a work around?

you mean instead of upgrading to a multi- site ecas?

Yes. Our AE indicated we can set it up, but I don't see how. Only have option to set up 1 ip address and only have 1 Ethernet port on my CDR therfore all sites would have to point to one ip address. I looked at display system-parameters customer options and I don't see multi-site ecas. Any info you have on this would be appreciated.

not sure how your going to do that without multi site ecas.

SparkySD,

there are two ways:
1. instruct your ecas system to accept data from two pbxes instead of one. this may require software upgrade or license purchase or something.
2. convert your standalone s8300 to lsp off the main s8700. if they're running r12 both, it can be done for a price but not too expensive. with cm3, it's free of charge. this way you'd get your cdr from both sites because there would be one system not two.
