Hi, can someone give me an example using the parameter option to apply a record selection criteria to the query.
I think it is something like &RSELECT='{fieldname}=value'

What does SE stand for??
I never used this term.
CE stands for Crystal Enterprise (which I really didn't think would be necessary to spell out in full!

Hi,
Multiple 'if' lines is achieved using ()
eg.
if a := 0 then
(s := "Zero value";
if b := 0 then
(a := 1;
b := 2;
c := 3)
else
(a := 3; c := 4)
)
else
(s := "Non-zero value";
b := 99

Hi FVTrainer,
This is what I had already thought, but I cannot get the new replace command to be recognised within the ODBC connection.
When you click on Ok after coping the SQL statement, I still can't see what I should do next!?

Hi,
I have a report using an oledb connection to an Oracle database. The report uses a command to determine the fields required from a specific table.
I want to re-connect the report to the database via an ODBC connection that I have set up.

Hi,
If you only have one group, why are you grouping the report?
You can achieve the same order using sorting.
Can you not just suppress the text field if page_number = 1

Hi,
If you can create a view to split the memo field into string fields then you can use a formula like
local numbervar p1 := instr({view.string_part1},'[')
local numbervar p2 := instr({view.string_part1},']')
left({view.string_part1},p1+1) + mid({view.string_part1},p2)
Hope this helps...
I obtained this from a page on the web.
This Html script works fine for the report specified.
What would you need to change to make it work for a different report?
(Eg. generated via an ODBC link to a SQL server database?
Any info would be appreciated,
Geoff
