I have a BCM 50 rls 5 which fails doing a backup after an hour. It literally took 45 minutes to backup the call pilot messages before the failure which generated an alarm saying the hard drive was close to being full. I have pulled all the cdr records out, however the call pilot portion is huge...
I've got a customer with a BCM 50 rls 5 running a small call center. The problem is that when the supervisor monitors the agents (it works fine) and the agent uses the call record feature, it drops the supervisor from the silent monitor, and he cannot monitor again until the call (recording) is...
I've run into a BCM 50 Rls.1 and cannot change the time on it. Whenever you go in through set or element manager, it reverts back to to wrong time. I have tried changing back to get the time off the network, and NTP, but it still reverts back. Has anyone run into this, and if so what is the...
Just got a new PC, as did a coworker and the print driver will not load. (It worked fine on the previous PC) It says "Unable to install the fax printer driver. The print spooler may be busy. Please restart your computer and try again).
Any ideas? (Virus protection or something?) Everything else...
I recently upgraded to Outlook 2003, and since then none of my online forms (OFT files) open up correctly. The forms open up with the e-mail address to send to, as well as the subject line, however none of the fields in the forms show up. Has anyone else excperienced this, and / or are there any...
I have a BCM 400 running 3.7 software, and the customer frequently forwards their set to their cell phone, as they are frequently out of the office. The customer also has a PRI, coming out of a Siemens switch. Whenever the call (DID number) is forwarded, the CLID information that shows up on the...
I have a BCM 400 (3.7), and the customer has Unified Messaging on their desktop(s). Some desktops are running XP service pack 2, while others are running "2000". The users that are running XP SP2 cannot fax out multiple documents on 1 fax, while the "2000" users can. Is there any way around...
Soemthing may have become corrupt in your memory. Try deleting the mailbox, adding a new mailbox but make it a totally unique number (seperate from the extension). Make sure you put the proper extension in, and message waiting yes
I am trying to take the data from one BCM 50 to another, but am running into a problem. When I try to restore to the new BCM 50, it comes up "rules deleted". Any ideas?
Don't be surprised if you have some "weird" problems using that cable (14 ft). The cable needs to be EXACTLY 5 meters due to timing issues between the main unit and the expansion module. (5 meters = 16ft 4.85 inches)
Why does the fax machine need to hear dial tone. When they enter the speed dial, doesn't the fax go off hook, the hotline takes effect with the 9, and the fax dials the rest of the number?
True, if you want to have a courtesy phone, why don't you just have a sign that says to dial 9 for an outside line, and build a restriction filter as needed to prevent them from dialing LD?
do you have a PRI? If so, what is your software level (Do you have 2nd dial tone enabled?). What happens when you pick up a "regular" set, and dial 9? Do you get a second dial tone, or silence as well? (oops, I just noticed this is the BCM forum, not Norstar). In that case, assuming you have a...
You can only use numbers 1 through 8 on the tree unless you have an alternate language. 9 is reserved for alternate language, and cannot be changed. Also, # is the directory (spell the person name to find the mailbox). This also cannot be changed
