BCM 50 backup fails

I have a BCM 50 rls 5 which fails doing a backup after an hour. It literally took 45 minutes to backup the call pilot messages before the failure which generated an alarm saying the hard drive was close to being full. I have pulled all the cdr records out, however the call pilot portion is huge. They only have a few message, and over 3000 minutes of storage left. They record calls, however it is sent to a server and not stored in the mailboxes. How do I clear the "messages"? Very weird...

Are you able to do a BCM 50 backup without ticking the Call Pilot Configuration or Messages etc?.

Yes, not a problem. Just don't know where the "messages" are coming from. Pulled a mailbox report, and basically nothing

Are you backing up to the BCM itself or to a network folder, FTP or USB mem stick?
