They have been rebooted. I just rebooted one last night and tried again. You either get a bad username/pass or an -error 1909.
It's possible we have a port blocked via an ACL. Any idea what ports it uses? We placed a router in the path about the same time We are using both BCM nics 1 for VoIP...
Since installing the Call Center Pro keys on 3 BCMs, BCM monitor will no longer connect. We get a username/password error. Other BCMs we have all connect just fine. These are BCM400's on 3.6. Anyone else experience such a problem?
My theory is that Call Center reporting data stream is using...
We have several 3.7 systems and the on hold music does not play on inbound calls placed to a DID. It works fine when calling out and placing the call on hold. We also have several 3.6 systems and they perform as expected where on hold music plays when placing a caller on hold regardless if they...
Mrmarshall... I assume you are replying to mine. I don't want to hijack anyone's thread..
2 are 3.6 with all patches up and not including core 1. One is all patches up to and including core 1. I have not installed the core 2 patch yet as I saw mention of VoIp trunks getting wiped out...
... this is occuring over 3 seperate BCMs at 3 different locations. The 20 that work are spread out among the 3 (48 licenses total). I have 1 or 2 "problem" PCs at each location.
I have the same issues.. 20 machines work fine, 2 or 3 don't. I can reinstall and they will work for a few weeks, then suddenly stop. Uninstall/Reboot/Re-install and the line selection is not available. Sometimes it will just pop-up as a selection for no apparent reason. The client shows...
Tier III is a stretch, but it doesn't take much (ability to read and comprehend) to move out of Tier I (only ability to read is required).
But you are THE BCM guy!
IP Music -> Set to Audio Jack. Plug into the jack on the front.
Under Telephony -> General Settings -> Feature Settings.. change as appropriate (Background Music, On Hold). Set to background and check from a set (feature 86, feature #86 off)
I forgot to add Firefox will have an issue with the certificate if you are running SSL and managing multiple BCMs. It ties the certificate to a IP/URL and doesn't like it when it sees the same certificate coming from a different URL.
Since we are behind a firewall (two) and these BCMs are not...
I stopped using IE and use the Firefox browser to Admin the BCMs. It may be all in my head, but it sure seems a WHOLE lot faster. My hunch is Firefox handles JAVA better than IE. With the battle M$ had with Sun over Java, I wouldn't doubt the integration between the two isn't exactly the best...
Nortel has an extended support agreement with Microsoft until mid-2006 for Embedded (or "Hardended") NT 4 (per Nortel Rep in both KC and Charlotte). So they have a little over a year. If you want extended support they would be glad to do that for a fee. They have made the fee high enough that...
