    Can't preview without overprint preview

Thanks, Andrew. It's not my file, but trying to help find the answers. Appreciate your input. Donna

    Can't preview without overprint preview

Well, I double-checked. It's PDF 1.5 made with something DALiM software. My friend says it prints seps fine, but not the composite for the proof.

    Can't preview without overprint preview

A friend of mine is having some issues seeing this in a PDF. He has a pdf/ill file that when you open it there appears to be something missing. When you click on overprint preview in ill. everything shows up. The same happens in Acrobat. When you open it it's not there until you view seps. Any...

    Photorec/Testdisk help

Thanks, Andrew - that's how I tried to launch, but my old system may not be able to handle it. I'll try another way. donna

    Photorec/Testdisk help

I accidentally deleted a folder from my documents with lots of photos, but don't have $100 for a commercial recovery. I found testdisk/photorec, but when I try to launch, I get an error /photorec; exit dyld: /photorec Undefined symbols: /photorec undefined reference to _uuid_generate expected...

Moveable Type shows parent directory listing

Yes - loads normally at that point. I've posted some htaccess stuff I found about this on the Apache forum. I didn't set up any of this site, so am coming in blind as to what's gone on. thanks, donna

    Two htaccess files conflicting

Not used to having to do this. Our server hosts 3 or so sites for us. In the root, there is an htaccess file containing only DirectoryIndex index.htm In one of the sites (the dept using this accesses and updates w/FrontPage), the directory contains an htaccess file that says # -FrontPage-...

Moveable Type shows parent directory listing

Thanks, smah - I'm going to look into the structure now.

Moveable Type shows parent directory listing

It is named index.html. There are no other index files in the directory (blogs). Other files/directories on the site recognize index as the main page in their directory, that's why I'm assuming related to MT. thanks

Moveable Type shows parent directory listing

Not sure where to post this, but editorial people as work have installed MT w/our host, but when you go the the url, it shows the entire directory listing rather than the home page. Other directories for the site work fine. Ideas? thanks, donna

    Background expansion

    Sure, here's the html <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <head> <title>zone test</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="zone.css"> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html...

    Background expansion

Okay - feeling rather dumb, but my content is overlapping the wrapper background here http://thezonemag.com/test/ I'm not seeing the problem, but it may be I've looked too long. Please point me, oh generous souls. Thanks, Donna

    Does anyone still have v5?

Thanks - I managed to have a friend locally still have v5 and converted. Sorry I haven't posted back - recovering from a spider bite!

    Does anyone still have v5?

I have a v5 file that I need saved to v4 so I can open in Indesign - wondering if anyone could help me out with this one. If so, let me know and I'll put the file on a ftp area to exchange. Thanks, Donna

Losing it - wrap text around div

Oh, I tried that - and gave up last year. I'm hoping we'll get a redesign if a quick economic bounce up comes. Donna

Losing it - wrap text around div

Thanks - I was getting lost in it. And the (ugly) JWs are loved by the client - I wanted a different direction [wink] Donna

Losing it - wrap text around div

But it looks like it was done here (found this a few moments ago) http://www.rayswoodworks.com/test_files/One-Column/1-col-demo.html And the div is nested.

Losing it - wrap text around div

I can't seem to find what I'm looking for in a search, so... I need the text to wrap around the div here on the right (with the image) http://jeffwesthome.com/about.html And for some reason I'm not getting it. Point me, please. Thanks, donna
