    What version of Notes are you running. We installed MM r3.1 when we were on Notes v6 and then upgraded to Notes v8 and I have since seem some issues (it sometimes just stops working). And the MM r3.1 Notes client is not supported on Notes v8. We are just about to upgrade to MM r5.1

    from a DOS box on the client try typing telnet <MSS IP Address> 143 if you get a IMAP4 server ready message then the service is fine on the server. If not them either the service is not running, or maybe something (a firewall) is blocking it.
