Hi,

does anyone know of a way to automatically set up the Auto Notify Me Rule in Subscriber options. I'd like a default rule for each of my users. At least I'd like to change the defaults.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Regards

Bruce

From an MAS, launch IE and goto Then choose a subscriber, and at the bottom, you'll see Launch Subscriber Options...

From there you can change the defaults.

Thanks,

Hi,

yes I understand how to change one user, but I want to change the default message for everyone.

Can this be done with Mailbox Manager with a multiple modify setting...? Not sure - might be worth a look.

Are you only wanting to change the domain of the user, or each user has a unique address? user@zyx.com, user@xyz.com, etc...?

Thanks,
CJH

There is not a way to do this with MBM or any other tool. The only way to st this up is with the subscriber options or web subscriber options.

That is the whole idea that the user sets it up and not the admin.

I know that some users can't seem to get it right but what are you going to do?

OK thanks, I guessed as much.

One thing i have not looked at is the SQL database for the users on the MAS.

I would think that all of that info is stored in it but one of the drawbacks is that each MAS has it's own copy and none of them ever seem to be the same size.

So even if you changed it on one you would need to do the same on any other MAS.
