    RIP software

    check out www.iproofsystems.com, they do software rips for many printers, i use one on my epson 7600 and have used ther software on a variety of printers in the past, from an epson 1520, 1290, 800, 5000, 3000 etc and found the results very very good paul@number-13.co.uk

    hi I have just had a simila problem, the workround i had was to rip the pdf files in photoshop and then import the tiff files, i know this is not the answer but even in q 6.1 i still get the problem

    Hiya Prefernces-pdf options there is a default option button, clck on it and click on the job options tab and there you will be able to change the resolution of the pdf file

    Hiya I have a sheet with all the special characters on it , i can scan and e-mail it over if you still need it
