Are you using the "3rd Party IP Endpoint license" or the standard IP Endpoint License. I set up an IP 450, IP650, IP6000 and IP7000 on our demo system but needed the 3rd Party license to make the SIP phones work.
You can program the sets via phone, webpage or ftp server of you are familiar with...
If you do not have the MAC address or the IP Address the IP Office should still be initialing a BootP request as a broadcast on the physical LAN. If you use a TFTP server like Solarwinds, (should work with IP Office TFTP also if you open it up) the BootP request should be visible with a...
Thank you very much for the quick response, this is very lean code. I was expecting a suggestion but the code is appreciated even more.
I was just playing with a strComp funtion I found in Visual Basic to try to match the values. But I will try your method.
Thank you again
I have been looking for a way to lookup a value in column A and find the result in column B. Simple? I thought so, however the problem I am having is that the column I am looking up is not a simple match.
I input a phone number in a textbox, that number is stored in varTelNum. In Column A I...
You would need to do a list trace on the extension to see what is being sent to the trunk group. You may have to hae your vendo do this if you do not have MSPs enabled on your system as I am not sure if List Trace is available outside of Dadmin.
Mitch,
Good point. I now had some additional questions that I will have to investigate.
I will re-post if I come up with anything. I would think that HTTP is already open to the phones as they currently pull the firware from the 8300. I will have to try changing the BRURI path to the same...
Avaya uses eCAS as a DevConnect partner. It prices around $2500 for a 250 user system but is web enabled and works well. Trisys Telecom also has a product called Tapit which is fairly common but does not do cradle to grave as easily as eCAS does. However, Trisys also has a dirt cheap recording...
The ports can be changed but must match on both sides and should be open in the firewall settings. 1720 is a default for VoIP traffic in general.
The network region settings are defined in Change IP-Network-Region x where x is the region you want to use. You will probably also want to define...
Has anyone ever set up an S8300 as a destination for IP Phone backups?
In small implementations we have used the 8300 as the DHCP ad HTTP server but would also like to be able to store the back ups if possible.
I was able to create a directory called /backup under the Linux root. I also set...
I need to find out if there is a way to configure (2) 2611 routers between 2 PBX systems. Here's the catch. There are no Serial interfaces only Ethernet ports to work with. I have configured many routers using Serial Interfaces but never over Ethernet Interface.
The hardware is:

4merAvaya,
Thank you once again.
I do have the DS1 set up. But, I added a signaling channel but on page 2 it asks for an extension which normally would be a data module. Do I have to define something there? If so, then what type of device. Also, do I need to set it as permanent and enabled?
I...
I have a customer with a network of 4 routers. The appliaction is a VoIP network with the device doing the VoIP compression. The routers just provide the network. Each router has a 192.168.X.0 address as follows:
192.168.1.1
192.168.2.1
192.168.4.1
192.168.5.1
The routers are using RipV2
The...
