We have an Avaya IP500 running on R5(18)with an IP endpoint license(1) for the Polycom Soundstation 7000. I have followed the directions from Avaya to install the Soundstation but it will not register with the Avaya IP500. We have static IP's for all phones and for the Soundstation. I can ping it through the Avaya system but It will not register? What am I missing? Any info would be helpful.

What guide did you use or steps did you follow?

My experience with a 600 is that you better program it on the phone instead of the webpage.
It was ten time quicker.

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

Are you using the "3rd Party IP Endpoint license" or the standard IP Endpoint License. I set up an IP 450, IP650, IP6000 and IP7000 on our demo system but needed the 3rd Party license to make the SIP phones work.

You can program the sets via phone, webpage or ftp server of you are familiar with the Polycom file requirements.

I have used the webpage on the IP 4xx and 6xx phones and it took 5 minutes to set up, but any method works.
