Avaya SoftPhone connection issues

When the Avaya Softphone gives an error message the states
"Your call could not be completed. Please Try again" does that indicate that the Softphone client could not reach the pbx to dial or what is it indicating. We have a home officed person that is having intermittend issues with not having calls complete on firts try.
 
You would need to do a list trace on the extension to see what is being sent to the trunk group. You may have to hae your vendo do this if you do not have MSPs enabled on your system as I am not sure if List Trace is available outside of Dadmin.
