I have 4 G700 gateways (different sites connected back to an S8700 server) with external paging systems connected to an analog port on the MM711 module. This is setup through a trunk group and accessed using the TAC for that trunk group. Most of the time this works fine but on occassion I have...
Hi,
I have an S8700 with 7 G700/S8300's. I would like to upgrade 4 of the the LSP's to 2.2. The oldest is moving from 2.0. Everyone I've spoken to about this tells me I have to load the 2.2 CD from the local CD drive at the gateway. I'm convinced that this is the only way to load the new...
I don't believe there's a way around this problem. I have an Intuity that handles 10 locations 5 are LSP's. I have posed the same question to our business partner and Avaya with no solution. A future vmail platform may be the answer ie. modular messaging, however it may suffer from the same...
Thanks for the reply.
I'm making the assumption that there's a port and number assigned for the night bell. I'll need to look through the system to identify it.
How would the coverage work in your scenario? Would this ring both devices or cover like a coverage path?
I assume the calling group is...
I'm new to Merlin programming. I'm much more familiar with Definity programming.
I need some assistance setting up a calling group in a Merlin Legend or some other feature to handle the scenario below.
The location uses an auto-attendant (Intuity) for after hours calls. The auto-attendant gives...
I have 2 sites using centralized attendant service. Currently the operator at the primary attendant activates attendant night service and sends calls for both sites to an external alert (TAAS) at the primary site (Definty G3V8 -both sites).
I would like to route the night service to a central...
Thanks for your response. In the meantime, I convinced the location that a DID number was a better option. I'll remember the "trk-flash" button and try it if I run into this scenario again.
I do have another question you may be able to help with.
I have 2 sites using centralized attendant...
Does anyone know how or if you can forward a personal co line to a number outside of the PBX (Def G3V9)? When trying to use the LEC forwarding code from the brdg-appr we get waive off.
thanks
Vic
rvw,
Were you able to forward your pcol after you changed the set type? I have a similar situation. The user would like to forward the pcol to an outside number but gets waived off when trying to accomplish this from the bridged-appr for the pcol.
thanks
vic
The local area code has changed for one of my facilities. What changes need to be made in the definity. Do I only have to change the npa on the route patterns or is there some other place I need to make changes. The npa is not listed on the dial plan form.
Thanks

I need to send a call following a coverage path to the voicemail box of the last point in the cov path and not the originating extension.
I have a def. G3V8 and Definity audix R4.0.
There's no vectoring in the pbx and no secondary ext field on the voicemail subscriber form.
Is there another way...
