I do not believe that ENMS supports the passport 6400 product. In the past there is product that can be added to HP openview to support the Passport 6400
Sounds like you have a routing issue. Is rip turned on between the 8600 and the private interface of the contivity.
Does the 5520 route table know how to get to the Contivity network? It should have a route entry if it is routing.
I have also been sucessful with this configuration. Follow what HungyHouse said. IPSEC encryption set the same and IKE set the same. Also I have found that PIX may require a key to do 3des.
Also verify the Contiviy has the following IPSEC set in the group:
Compression: disabled
Vendor ID ...
What you are seeing is correct. The address from the DHCP server will also be the gateway. The VPN box will proxy arp on behalf of the client. If you are having routing problems from the client to your internal network, make sure you setup a "private gateway" address.
I am using Nortel Alteon platform with R55 software. In the log I am receiving many out of state packets. Checkpoint tells me it is typically a problem with non-asymetrical routing.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem?
Thanks in advance.
