46 member PRI set to descending grabs channel 24 first

I was just thinking, shouldn't the system have grabbed channels from the second DS1 when I busied out the first DS1 board? I got waive off instead.

46 member PRI set to descending grabs channel 24 first

Thank you lopes1211. I think that answers the question. The DS1 boards are in different carriers. We will need to test with a phone connected to the other carrier to be sure. Appreciate the quick response.

46 member PRI set to descending grabs channel 24 first

G450 5.2.1. The PBX has a PRI trunk group with 43 members in TG1. The TG is set for ascending. The PBX grabs channel 24 (the first channel in the second DS1) every time instead of trunk 1. I took out all of the members of TG1 and re-added them but no change. Swapping the physical trunks...

Get NuPoint to disconnect from call flow

Our client has a current version NuPoint. They do some supervised transfers of clients to a call center and if no agents are available, calls go to a call flow. They would like to be able to pull the call back from the NuPoint after the call flow has answered. In this case, the transferred...

How do you cancel a trunk to trunk transfer?

Sounds right to me. It's always the obvious answers we overlook. The customer is trying it now. Thanks for your quick response.

How do you cancel a trunk to trunk transfer?

We have a client that has a branch office in a different city. The branch is using a MAGIX. They do not have consoles. They have analog trunks only. At times, they need to transfer calls to their main branch which they have been doing using trunk to trunk transfer and that works. Calls are...

Two departments, different closing times, one night service button

Here is what we are going to do. We won't know that the solution is acceptable until they port the number over and there is some soak time. We created four loop around circuits using open analog extensions 7160-7163 and trunk ports 8/1-8/4. We created trunk group 892 using trunk ports 8/1-8/4...

Two departments, different closing times, one night service button

That is how it is set up now and it covers to AA2. The problem came in when the main operator manually pressed the night service button for meetings, lunch, etc., This small group ended up in night service when they did not want to be. If we isolate them by giving them their own trunk group, I...

Two departments, different closing times, one night service button

In this case, the second DNIS is the lead number to a group of agents that log in and out. There is no operator for the second group. Good thought though.

Two departments, different closing times, one night service button

This is a non-profit so capital expenditure is out. I have a printout of the full system but can't find version information in there but it is a discolored plastic cabinet so it is not Magix. Since all calls come in on a T1, I came up with a thought that we could isolate the new department...

Two departments, different closing times, one night service button

In a nutshell, client has older MERLIN LEGEND, 007 Voice Mail. They have one attendant console with a night service button. There is another department moving in to the same building but they have different hours of operation. Also, the two departments want to use night service (separately)...

    Create code * conference CM5.2

The CM won't work like his old system. Why would you want it to? Sell him on the idea that he no longer needs to use codes so it is simpler than before. Since it is an analog phone, he only needs to press the recall button or a quick touch of the switch hook This puts the first caller on...

    Create code * conference CM5.2

Did *77 dial a "meet me" conference or did it just do a three way call?

    Passing caller ID

Are the inbound PSTN trunks ISDN as well? If so, check docs for tandem trunks. If the PSTN trunks are analog, you could have issues.

Maybe a dumb question but have you verified that VM is operational?

Can a analog conference phone be programmed as a bridged appearance?

    I guess he'll need a Tri-Corder implant.

9611 phone label shows name not extension

Thanks, Matt. I had looked at the custom labeling field in the station form before but did not change it since there was no custom label that we could see anywhere. I had the customer change the setting from the default "yes" to "no" and the displayed name turned into the extension number...
