my ospc caller id is showing only the last 3 digits of stations instead of 4. caller id's on ip phones are ok, showing all 4 digits. seems that only ospc has the problem. also not showing caller id from external calls thru a pri. help..

I was prepping for a 4.01 to 5.1.1 upgrade but my S8300/G700 restarted when I plugged in a DVD drive. Can somebody pls explain why it can cause a restart?

got it... so what could be the problem when a g700 is not responding on a telnet request? I can ping it.

it is not working... I can let somebody login to the g700 thru the console and asked them to turn telnet on...but what is the command to turn it on?

the LSP8300 is running 3.1.5, telnet to the g700 to do firmware update ... i could not telnet to the g700 from the network.
