I have a IBM Thinkpad with Windows XP/office XP on it 256MB of RAM, 10GB harddrive...with no sound. It doesn't work with or with out headphones or external speakers. I want to fix it so I can sell it. What do you think a good price would be if I can get the sound working or without sound?

After going through different troubleshooting steps, my last resort was taking the burner out and trying it in another pc. It worked fine in there. So, I was about to change SCSIs, but decided to hook it back up to the orignal one, made sure the cabeling was in there securely and it worked...

I finally got it this morning.

My CD Burner wont recoginize any cds, but the cd-ROM will. When I put a disk in the cd burner the cd icon will flash next to the mouse pointer for about 5 seconds and then it goes away and the light on the cd burner goes off. Please help me.
