Hi all.
I would like to program a secondary Call Fwd button on the phones in the office.
1 button needs to have Call Fwd + 9 + number.
The boss wants to be able to have the last person leaveing the office push the forward button to forward all calls to a different line that has remote call...
I've set this up. however when I press 7 it does not dial out.
When 7 is pressed I hear the AA say Your message options are...
system has a pri. and for the mailbox i'm using pool 1.
any ideas?
Oh and to be more specific.
I want to do Remote Call Forwarding.
I want to be able to call in, from home for example, and change a setting to forward all calls to another number. Like a employee.
Hopefully without having to muck around with the system programming.
Something easily done.
Well right now I'm trying to figure out if this can be done.
And it needs to be easy enough for someone that is not a programmer can do.
I need to know everything I can about this so I can tell a programmer exactly what I want and not sound like a total noob.
Is this even possible?
I've been looking through the manual but I haven't seen anything even remotely close.
We have mics 6 or 6.1. maybe in a upgraded version it's possible?
oh no. bellsouth is the new at&t now. same company new name sorta.
anyways we called a system programmer over to rule out anything on our end.
and of course at&t looked at our account settings and saw that detailed billing was turned off.
they have turned it on and we should be seeing...
About 2 months ago we moved offices.
I litterally took the phone system apart with everything connected off the mount board in our rack room. put it in a car and drove it over to the new office. remounted it on new board, hooked up the pri and wired up like in the old office and everything works...
well if i specify route and try to use a number in the field then when i submit i get an error.
"the line/pool number cannot be specified unless a line or a pool is being used."
using route with nothing in the field box doesn't work either.
We ran into this situation where we wanted to take a few lines and have them go to a voip solution.
we went to www.patton.com and got a smartnode with 4 ports so that we could interface the system with a sip server.
this however is not the best solution.
you need analog extensions to get it to work.
I have mics 6.1 and a callpilot 250 mini.
i'm trying to setup off premesis notification.
it's enabled in the class of service.
I've gone through the prompts and added the number to call 9305xxxxxxx, the times 9 to 9pm and turned on the feature.
in the callpilot i've changed outdial type to line...
