    Oh and to be more specific. I want to do Remote Call Forwarding. I want to be able to call in, from home for example, and change a setting to forward all calls to another number. Like a employee. Hopefully without having to muck around with the system programming. Something easily done.

    About 2 months ago we moved offices. I litterally took the phone system apart with everything connected off the mount board in our rack room. put it in a car and drove it over to the new office. remounted it on new board, hooked up the pri and wired up like in the old office and everything works...

    nope route isn't working. pool 1 doesn't work either. and it's the default setting. i keep getting an error it does not send.

    well if i specify route and try to use a number in the field then when i submit i get an error. "the line/pool number cannot be specified unless a line or a pool is being used." using route with nothing in the field box doesn't work either.

    well on the modular system you can just open the cover and look and it will say wether or not it's a modular system.

    How can SIP VOIP be implemented with the Nortel key systems (non-BCM)

    We ran into this situation where we wanted to take a few lines and have them go to a voip solution. we went to www.patton.com and got a smartnode with 4 ports so that we could interface the system with a sip server. this however is not the best solution. you need analog extensions to get it to work.
