About 2 months ago we moved offices.
I litterally took the phone system apart with everything connected off the mount board in our rack room. put it in a car and drove it over to the new office. remounted it on new board, hooked up the pri and wired up like in the old office and everything works fine just like in the old office. no programming changes.

however we are having a small issue with bellsouth/at&t.
On our bill we had all the lines showing individual tracking of calls. Now on our bill we show all the calls comming up on the main number.

Now the question is. Do I need to change a setting in the phone system or is this a bellsouth/at&t isue that they need to correct on their end.
of course they are telling us that the problem is on our end. but caller id is working just fine and the phone system is working like it was in the old office. but i'm wondering if anyone else out there has run into this problem.

thanks.

That is because your main number is your billing number. I know that might seem strange, but it is completely normal. The whole "The trouble is on your end" thing is pretty standard in the telephony world. Especially when AT&T is involved. So is this a new provider for your company since the move?

oh no. bellsouth is the new at&t now. same company new name sorta.

anyways we called a system programmer over to rule out anything on our end.

and of course at&t looked at our account settings and saw that detailed billing was turned off.

they have turned it on and we should be seeing detailed billing on our next bill.

stupid at&t
