I have mics 6.1 and a callpilot 250 mini.

i'm trying to setup off premesis notification.
it's enabled in the class of service.
I've gone through the prompts and added the number to call 9305xxxxxxx, the times 9 to 9pm and turned on the feature.
in the callpilot i've changed outdial type to line 199.

but still no notifications.
any ideas?

our pool is A. and it doesn't accept a letter.
what should i do?

Is this a PRI Circuit, if it is you need to specify route in your outdial.

Yes it's a PRI.
Ok I'm going to try route.
is it going to route automatically.
do i need to setup a route somewhere on the callpilot?

well if i specify route and try to use a number in the field then when i submit i get an error.

"the line/pool number cannot be specified unless a line or a pool is being used."

using route with nothing in the field box doesn't work either.

nope route isn't working.

pool 1 doesn't work either. and it's the default setting.

i keep getting an error it does not send.

We have an MICS 6.1 with PRI and CP150 2.1
My setup, which works, is:
In mailbox setup, Outdial=Route, Line/Pool# is blank.
Off premise message notification number is 9xxxxxxx,
where 9 is our regular route code, followed by the 7 digits of the local number (oh, how I love 7 digit dialing!)

I also have our a few folks set up to send a numeric page to our cell phones, but that's a challenge because:
1) it's a pain to enter # and pause, and no backspace
2) the number of pauses required by the cell company's answering computer varies with its loading, so it might work one time but not the next
3) our version of the CP is limited to 30 characters in the dial and page string combined. I set up a route that dials the 9xxxxxxx to save digits (one route for each cell company)

Maybe Nortel has improved this in the CP 3.0?

But off premises notification to a voice phone is easy and flawless.

I did set up outgoing line identification on the CP DN so we can tell the CP is calling, not someone from the office.
