We created copies of our companies last year, and have since switched laptops that MAS90 runs on. Now those backup companies don't show up. How do I get them to show up? In other words, we copied company NEW to N08 so we could have access to certain GL data. Then in January, we switched MAS90 to...
Hello,
We are using an old version of Telemagic. V12.5 We had a server crash the other day. We have all of the data (tmcustmas.dbf) but we don't have the system directory that TM needs to run. There is a directory it creates called \tmsysdir\ that houses a few system files. One of the files...
Well, there are two SCSI cards, and two hard drives. I disconnected one SCSI card and one hard drive. I'm not sure I Would know the process of clearing off the second hard drive.

Hi Marvin,
THanks. I actually did try those ideas. When I tried both of them at the same time, it didn't finish running vrepair. Then I just switched it to not delete the purged files, and it finished running vrepair, but when I load the volume again, it gives me the message about the...
We are running NW 3.2. So, we had another serious power outage. I am able to run Vrepair, however when it tries to complete the process, it says it can't complete do to a Write/FAT problem. So is the FAT table on the drive damamged? or is there an internal NW FAT Table that is damaged?
Mick
Thanks for the suggestion. I was able to tell vrepair where v_os2.nlm was, using the "searc add...." feature. So vrepair ran succssfully yesterday. However, about 2 hours after it ran, I got the same error message. I ran vrepair again, and the second time I told it to make a text file so I could...
So, could the problem be with one (or both) of the SCSI controllers? We're using the 2940-U2W cards. If it were hard drive related, wouldn't it not run at all? I'm still wondering if I can somehow load V_NFS.NLM, for VREPAIR to be able to run.
Mick
Could/Would a power supply cause this behavior? I replaced the power supply, thinking maybe the outage (possible surge) could have damaged the power supply. There was a light fixture in the same room that had to be replaced. Anyway, it's been up for a few hours now.
Mick
Can it be temporarily removed, while vrepair runs, and then re-installed? Or will that trash the longer filenames? Also, can I run V_NFS.NLM on version 3.2? or is that a newer feature for a newer version of Novell?
Mick
Hello all,
We are running Novell 3.2 We had a power outage today, and although I can load our Volume SYS, it only runs for about 2 hours, and then locks everyone out, saying that the drive has deactivated. I tried to run Vrepair, but it stops and says I should remove support for Name Space...
We're doing the same thing. I've downloaded V4.91sp2. Now what? How do I run a "custom" install? Once the install starts, will it prompt me to choose IPX and Bindery over NDS? The 49sp2.txt file says says a prerequisite is NDPS and Netware 4.11. ???? Won't this work on 3.2?
Mick
Well, it was the "Use High Contrast" button. For some reason it was checked. Thank you Dan. I'll head over to the Javascript forum to work on my State/County problem. I'll be back here sometime when I start coverting over to CSS. I can see how much better using CSS will be in the long run. Very...
Well, I made the most basic of CSS sheets to work with. The only thing in it is:
body {background-color: #333333}
That is the dark grey color I'm after. It works in everything but XP/IE6 (still shows up white). So, I guess my IE6 has a setting that is messed up? Any ideas?
Mick
Well, it is not just my site. This one should have a dark background (this is not my site), but on my computer, with WinXP/IE6 it has a white background.

So, I'll have to figure out what is wrong. I also have a JS problem on another site I'm making. It works fine on...
So on your workstation it has the dark grey back ground? Last night I changed the back ground to several different colors, and nothing I did seemed to affect the color of the back ground. Each time I did "view source" to see what the browser loaded, and the change loaded each time (Currently...
On my workstation at home (WinXP/IE 6), the background is white, and the text is such a light yellow, you can't see them. It is supposed to be a dark grey background, with almond color text. That is the way it displays in all my other combinations of OS/Browsers. Could I have a corrupt...
Thanks ca8msm. I have actually ordered a book on CSS, but won't get it from Amazon until early Feb. I have other sites taht I want to begin with CSS. But, for this problem, are you saying that I've incorrectly used bgcolor? Like, is there a known issue with what I'm trying to do, in WinXP/IE 6...
