- Red light is coming from both expansion card ports (card is likely good)
- When cable is plugged into expansion card, red light is emitted from other end (cable is likely good)
- ASM still not seen when connected to other expansion card port
- ASM has flashing green light (bad ASM?) what's...
I have an MICS (6.1) with a 2-port fiber expansion module and an Analog Station Module. As of today the ASM is no longer being recognized. Maintenance > Module/port status > Module 3 shows a status of Unequipped. I'm remote so any on-site troubleshooting is done with help of a non-tech. I do...
19 sets on system
Full PRI
All sets are on the same module
Just CCR1
I guess the next step would be to rebuild the Flash. Next time I'm on-site I'll try to work that in.
The SP code is 30CQG10 which is the latest MR afaik.
Here are most of the relevant settings for the line and set of the most problematic extension:
DN 3595
Line Access > Prime Line: I/C
Line Access > Intercom Keys: 2
Line Access > Line Assignement: Line 162
Line Access > Line Assignement >...
This has been working normally for a couple months but today I was informed that two extension (the same two that were previously problematic) were having the problem.
Every possible fix above (aside from defaulting the Flash) has been checked and today I rebooted the Flash system but the...
Here's some more info on the config, which I left out initially to simplify.
The MICS has a PRI. A few extensions (including the one I'm having a problem with) are configured to call forward to the user's cell phone using routing services. For the problem ext here is the config:
EXT
Fwd No...
Do you mean that number pressed (3 in this case) to transfer to that extension may not be recognized correctly by the system? I can't recall for sure but I think I test from a land line before and had the same result. If/when it happens again I'll be sure to try both.
I haven't rebooted the Flash yet in hopes of finding the root cause. If rebooting fixes it I suspect it will only be temporary as this has happened before. I can't recall if i rebooted last time or did something like disable/enable the CCR tree to get it to work. Either way I never figured out...
I have an MICS s/w version 6.1 with Flash v2.1. There is a basic CCR tree in place with 5 paths, each going to an extension number. All paths work except one, when the caller presses that path the AA says "The person you have called is not available". Dialing the extension directly works as...
I set up a simple single level CCR tree with 5 transfer points. After a caller listens to the home menu message I want the caller to be able to replay the menu. The home menu is path 0 so should pressing 0 take you back (replay) the menu? Currently pressing 0 tries to reach the operator, which...
By default I believe that the Comdial 7260-00 set displays the extension number on the LCD. However it can be programed to display a name instead. If that is the case and a name is being displayed, is there a button command that will show what extension it is?
Yep, sure enough, page 151 of the 7.1 System Coordinator Guide. Although not in nice graphical format like above :). And just to clarify, the button numbers don't change based on the template used. The default feature assignments will change but the button numbers remain the same.
Thanks guys but I was looking for the button numbering as the system sees it. When logged in via NRU all of the buttons are just numbered 1-24. The T7316 and T7316E do in fact have different number patterns. I was finally able to dig up some schematics from an PDF file I found online. I've...
I'm programming a system remotely and see that I have one T7316E (the rest are T7316). S/W is v7.1. The button numbering on the "E" version is apparently different than the standard T7316. Where is button #1 on the T7316E and how does the numbering sequence proceed from there?
Primary lines being 1-12 (only half of T1 is dedicated to voice). Target line 160 for example is supposed to capture digits 1455 and then ring at extension 1455 where target line 160 is assigned to. That wasn't happening. If I assigned line 001 to extension 1455 as a test, an incoming call would...
