T7316E button numbering 1

I'm programming a system remotely and see that I have one T7316E (the rest are T7316). S/W is v7.1. The button numbering on the "E" version is apparently different than the standard T7316. Where is button #1 on the T7316E and how does the numbering sequence proceed from there?

it shouldnt be any different

the only difference between the e and regular t7316 is the speaker phone buttone in between the mute and headset buttons

phoneguy610 the button sequence is different on the e and non e. On the non e you cannot assign line keys on button 1, they start on button 4. It was a poor design from the git go, why they ever made it that was always made no sense to me. I guess that's why they chgd it with the e version right away. I hate the non e sets.

The main difference between 7316e and non e is; On the non e the top 6 buttons with lcd display can not be lines. Lines will start on the 4th button down from the top on the left side, while "e" phones lines will be start on the 1st button. As well like phoneguy said the HF button is on the set not the programmable buttons.

Thanks guys but I was looking for the button numbering as the system sees it. When logged in via NRU all of the buttons are just numbered 1-24. The T7316 and T7316E do in fact have different number patterns. I was finally able to dig up some schematics from an PDF file I found online. I've attached it for future reference.

Yep, sure enough, page 151 of the 7.1 System Coordinator Guide. Although not in nice graphical format like above . And just to clarify, the button numbers don't change based on the template used. The default feature assignments will change but the button numbers remain the same.
