Thanks for the reply, They are all already ticked, I had check that as it was my first thought. I Suspect it is more handset related as all other hand sets are OK (46XX, 1616) and it is only my handset that this occurs on it is also the only 96xx handset.
Ok, so my trusty 4620 phone died the other day, had it 10 years+ so not too bothered. I had a rummage in the store room and dug out a 9641L (I think came in a our demo kit a fews years back). Anyway normally (well what I'm use to) College says:"xyz called for you 10 mins ago" I then look in...
Thanks Blow83 that is useful to know.
I also found something useful in System Status App > Resources > Control Unit Audit there is a full log of all Changes to config and failed logins with the IP they came from and the username of logged on user. That might help some identify if they have...
That was my thinking, They did seem to be very quick to pick it up. We make sure the Daily call Limit is set on all our accounts to limit exposure (£30 for us before account in disabled). There email pretty much blamed our PBX setup but my conclusion was as AAcon. Here is the call log...
I have noted that the Provider now allows you to Lock down the registration to a WAN IP which I will be implmenting for all of our SIP Connected PBXs ASAP.
I will check with the provider for any auth logs, but I suspect they will not be avalible.
LAN 2 is never connected, it is all NAT through LAN1 and the Sonicwall. How does this allow Manager access? Or could you describe how I could test for this from the WAN. There is no Route so i don't see how it is possible but again willing to be enlightened. Am I correct in thinking that with no...
OK Our SIP provided Disabled our account last night on the grounds of Fraud, fair enough. So I check the Call log at the provider and 2 call showed 15 Mins before the email from the provider, both to +38 (not made by us). So 10 points to Voiceflex for the rapid intervention.
Anyway, I want some...
Does anyone remember what version DT Handsets are supported too? I've tried to look though Avaya Website for the release notes but since there revamp they have pretty much lumped anything Pre V5 on one page. It no longer has the release notes link with the files which is where I'm sure I last...
Hi,
We use Sonicwalls and there great until it comes to the IP Office SIP and TFTP traffic.
We have about 6 sites using IPO and SIP trunks though a Sonicwall, all of them to VoiceFlex and on similar IPO firmware, all but one on the same ISP. 4 X TZ210 1X3600 pro 1 TZ 190.
Most of the...
Hi,
The Door Release is on the back of the IP Office (Extn O/P) so a Shortcode is required to open it (*41 as per default). The system is not using VMPro either. All the desktop phones have a button programed to open the Door. Even if the Receptionist is on another call she (or he) can press...
Not used one yet but Mobotix do a SIP door entry phone which is very clever and a box of tricks that will convert 2 wires to Ethernet so it can be used in legacy installs (and adds video). We install there camera's and they are amazing. So might work if there is a old copper wire going there.
I noticed that on the distructions, I got the impression you needed to enable the DTMF Tones for every call. Is it a one off or per call? If it is per call that's a pain.
Will dialling *41 release the door during the call or is it a separate call to the short code after the received call from...
Hi,
OK we are about to install an IP Office in a Care Home with DECT being a big part of the solution.
There is a door connected to an Analogue Extn and the EXT O/P port, we normally set up a button on the phone to release the door. But we have never had to set this up in conjunction with a...
OK Thanks, I will try and rule the sonicwall out as a first step. We have them working together at all other sites but i think every one of them is configured in a diffrent way to get them to work.
Hi,
We have used Voiceflex and the IPO successfully at several sites. However at our latest install and our first V7 we seem to be having issues, the Sonicwall (firewall) is also on a later version then previously used, potentially another issue. So the problems:
Trunks seem to register...
