Bringing relevant chart to the front

Thanks Combo, that works perfectly. Seems to me even with my limited knowledge, that Select Case can be used instead of if-then-else, is this correct? Also, just so i can start to understand "Private Sub Worksheet_change(ByVal target As Range) with Me" what does the bold "With Me" and the...

Bringing relevant chart to the front

Hi all, I've created a report which can be run at different levels, i.e. countywide and for each of 3 different regions. Part of the report is a trend analysis which will show one of 4 graphs of trend information. As i'm very inexperianced with VBA, i'm probably not going about this the right...

Count only unique ID's within sumproduct

Cheers Glenn, It certainly appear to give me the right results although, like you say, it's a bit of a beast. Food for thought though, do you not think it's possible within SUMPRODUCT? Cheers again

Count only unique ID's within sumproduct

Thanks for your reply Andy. Yes, i am indeed using excel. Typical that i have included as much info as possible and neglected to mention what program i'm using. What i'm really after is to count the records where the criteria in my SUMPRODUCT are met AND each Person_ID is only counted once.

Count only unique ID's within sumproduct

G'day all, I'm attempting to summarise a large dataset with formulae as opposed to a pivot table. I would, of course, usually use a pivot table, but this issue is only part of the overall task which involves me updating a table on a monthly basis using VBA. Anyhow, i'm currently at the...
