I convinced my Network guys to leave all ports on the SCCS open since the SCCS was not using DNS services and therefore fairly protected from outside attacks. I access all my SCCS servers using VPN when I am off site.
Go to LD60 and do a stat. When you find the loop that has the dch go into LD11 and do a PRT TYPE:TNB. Print off the first TN of the LOOP. You will be able to see the Route it is on. Then go into LD21 and do a PRT TYPE:LTM and enter the Route#. This will list all the members on the route...
You could log in more agents in MAX, they just wouldn't show up on reports. You can't even log in more agents in Symposium, the system won't allow you to.
We had a similar problem, when our agents were on the line we could not get them calls on they secondary DN. The problem was in the ACD programming of the Queue associated with their set. In the ACD SDNB had to be set to NO, then the calls would go through to voicemail.
The CLAN IP address has to be manually changed in the Sybase database of the server. Until you do this you will have that problem. Contact your vendor immediatly. The ELAN address has to be changed in the server config as well as the ELAN side on the PBX.
I agree with everything said. I am an end user and took my 200 course by CBT, but found that the X11 database course was great, also got my NNCFS for Symposium, has done wonders. I now use the forum for specific questions to problems you don't encounter everyday.
The reason telecom doesn't get...
The best places in the GTA are Williams Telecom at (905) 712-4242 ask for Vivian and Corporate Telecom Services at (905) 872-7200 ask for Gavin. They should be under $200.00cdn refurbished.
This particular location has an 11C running 25.40. It is a Symposium site, and in my scripting I have different music sources for different CDN's. What I am concerned about is the non ACD users, they all hear the same music, and there are 2 different brands that cannot agree on a single music...
It is a big job, just make sure before you do any PBX changes you deacquire the sets in Symposium, otherwise you may corrupt the database. It is an overnight job. But doing it will clean everything up for you and make it easier in the future.
If you are using frame I suggest setting up a separate PVC for the voice calls, it will save you having to upgrade the IOS on your routers and configuring them for DifServ traffic.
