Thanks for this-as far as your random pages goes, I have this too-I get rid of any borders and lines and ensure everything fits onto one page-the reason it gives a blank page is because some fields are too long or something like that. Out of interest, what is Crystal Report?

Have you tried haveing group headers and footers? Without seeing your dataset and what you are trying to do it is difficult to say how best to resolve it, but I have done several of these types of reoprt and the method works.

I have set up a report in my dbase which is supposed to export out into .rtf. It works really well, but the formatting is all over the place. Sometimes the fields are in the right place, other times not. Is there a way to have it export out and keep the formatting as it appears in the report?
