merging excel spreadhseets

I have about 300 spreadsheets which I need to merge into one-is there a speedy way to do this if all the fiels are the same?

Remember-most people are given tools to do their jobs-as they themselves have not paid for them or had any input as to their usefullness, the tools they are given will probably be rubbish! That's why they have come here for help!!
 
Firstly - regarding your end quote: This is not a helpdesk - it is a place for people to LEARN

There is no functionality to do what you require without VBA code or lots of copy / pasting

The "Speediest" way is probably to set up an import routine in access and an APPEND query to add the data to a table there. Once all files have been added, you would then export back to excel

thanks-that's pretty much what I thought, and I did start that way but it's soooooo arduous! Ah well-onwards and upwards
